The Morton County Fair relies on dedicated community members to help keep our fair strong, welcoming, and rooted in opportunities for local youth. Whether you’re interested in serving as a voting Director or supporting the team as an Associate Member, we welcome individuals who are passionate about agriculture, community involvement, and the future of our fair.

6. Would you be able to work specific days prior to fair week and the entire week of the Fair? (Monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of every month; 2 work weekends before the fair; fair week; work days after the fair; committee meetings)

Please Note: Being a Board Member should be enjoyable but is a lot of work, long hours, walking and standing. Physical requirements include but are not limited to: carrying tables, chairs, wood & metal benches, barrels, lifting and set up of livestock panels, stalls, gates, pens, tents, etc. You may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.

Workdays: Hours can be extensive, especially if working on an individual or committee project.

During Fair Week: Hours vary but you will need to be available from set up to tear down, at a minimum of 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. or longer.

Work may be required outside of the above listed. Independent tasks/assignments and committee tasks, assignments and meetings can and will be scheduled or required outside of the monthly meeting and/or work day and fair week schedules.



7. Background Checks are required of all Morton County Fair Board Members and Associate Members. Please complete SFN 433 (12-2022) and information below for the Morton County Sheriff's Office to do a background check. Complete form and upload it before submitting application.
